20&20: Lens of her Own
ANU Museum of the Jewish People
in Tel Aviv
20 contemporary Jewish female photo-based artists and 20 pioneer/trailblazer women photographers who worked in the late 19 and early 20th century.
My work is featured along the works of Lore Krüger (1914-2009) a German-Jewish photographer and Nazi resister. She became an icon of emancipated women in the avant-garde movement of the 30s and 40s. In 1942 she fled to New York with her family after years of moving to various locations in Europe, as well as being placed in internment camps. From New York she returned with her family to Germany in 1946 where she lived through the rest of her life.
